Researching has played a large role in my development as a student at Biotech HS. Having taken classes such as Biotech Lab Skills, Advanced Experimental Design, and Independent Research has provided me with the skills and resources to perform my own experiments with minimal assistance.

I have carried out a research project every year that I have been a student at Biotech, and I competed at Jersey Shore Science Fair my junior year, winning Honorable Mention in the Zoology division for my experimental work with the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans.
